WTB 68-72 convertible small block
Hi all
Been lurking for a while, first thread so go gentle!
In the market for a 68-72 convertible small block. I'm based in the UK so seller must be happy dealing with overseas buyer.
Main criteria:
- numbers matching
- condition is key: frame and mechanics more so than cosmetics, I don't need a show pony, but the nicer it looks the better! I do intend to drive this thing on the rare days the sun comes out over here, but it must be straight and solid.
- no side pipes
preferences but not necessarily deal breaker:
manual transmission
some provenence
nice to haves:
hard top
air
preference for '69
colour: pretty flexible, not hot on yellow, gold, orange or white, more a green, blue, black, silver, grey, red kind of guy.
budget: up to around $30k
thanks for looking

I'm thinking of selling my '68 convertible. It's a matching numbers unrestored car that looks, runs and drives good that I've owned for 30 years. However it is yellow and has an automatic transmission. Just thought I'd mention it.
