1969 427 Conv 5Spd/PS/PB/PW/Tilt-Tele/AC/436CI BB NOM $38,000 (NJ) - SOLD
1969 Corvette 427 Convertible NOM
(436CI / 450 HP/ 425 TQ) 5-Speed Convertible
Power Steering / Power Brakes / Power Windows / Tilt-Telescoping / Air Conditioning.
Color is Dark Metallic Orange, close to the atomic orange / Black Interior.
Location: Central New Jersey (Robbinsville)
$38,000
Overall condition of this car, as you can see from the photos, is very good, not excellent but everyone has their own opinion... Paint is very close to excellent, passenger door bottom front corner has slight discoloration (see pictures). It runs and drives great, steering is tight and drives and stops straight. Mechanically, I say it is very close to excellent.. again in my opinion.
Full paint correction, extensive grease removal and cleaning of frame, engine bay and suspension by Pete Tanzini (Pete’s Detailing) when the engine was out.
It is not an original 427, I had it built to be a very reliable, strong pulling street engine. It was a little bit of a shock when I added up most of the receipts I have… It’s over $65,000, including labor, that does not include the purchase price of the car. Perhaps it’s better not to add them up. Invoices are available to serious buyers.
More Photos in my album and I have also created this link to view many pictures of the corvette, some are during the work in project stages:

I sold a 1968 SB Conv to a forum member back in 2009.
Short List of New / Refurbished / Rebuilt / Replaced over the last 3 years (Over 30 Pages of receipts totaling over $65,000)

Indeed; that is a stunning example. If I wasn't neck deep into my Trans Am restoration I'd be buying a plane ticket to Jersey. Thanks for sharing - truly envious and wish you luck on the sale to the right future owner.

Beautiful car. Why are there so many nice 'Vettes in Jersey?
Quick Question: in fifth gear with your 3:55 rear end what are your RPMs at 70, 75 and 80 mph?

Thank you!... I don't recall the RPM's with the 3:55... Good reason to go for a ride tomorrow!

Burning Brakes
Gorgeous car - and it has everything on my wishlist (I just won't be in the market until next year, after I finish another project - unless you want to trade for a half finished 69 Firebird? )...

A couple of more questions:
1. LED headlights: does that mean you have dropped in halogen lamps or something else? In any event, did you install separate headlight relays for the extra load?
2. Are the new exhaust manifolds NOS or "refurbished?" Were they jet hot / ceramic coated ?
3. Is your Quickfuel 780 a mechanical or vacuum secondary version?
4. Why are you selling?
Thank you!

I haven't driven the vette prier to you asked about 5th gear RPM question. My preference is not to used it since I am selling it.
1) They are true LED Bulbs, not Halogen, no relays needed as they use less power and provide more visibility. (Cree LED headlight kit H1 H3 H4 H7 H8 H9 H10 H11 9005 9006 80W 6000K 7200LM (H4 Hi/Lo). Plugs into stock harness. Used standard 5-3/4 inch sealed beam headlamps, I think Hella.
2) New 66-69 Exhaust Manifolds (427) 2 1/2 with out A.I.R. Holes - Casting #3880828 and #3880827. Not Jet Hot or ceramic coated.
3) Quickfuel is vacuum secondary.
4) Purchased Beach House...
