FYI - Black wasn't an available color option for Corvettes produced during the 1970 - 73 model years and the closest thing to Burgundy would be Marlboro Maroon which was produced in 1970 only.

Yes, I did know the production colors for those years did not include black. A lot of these over the years, though, have been painted the two colors I am looking for. I had a black/black '73 about 10 years ago and would really like another early 70s C3. I called on a black/black '73 4-spd this morning but the ad was a bit dated and it had been sold. DARN, IT SEEMED LIKE THE PERFECT CAR! That's how it goes sometimes, huh? :-) Just hoping someone on here has a lead on another. Thanks again.

That is a lot of car for the money, a lot....The motor alone is worth some money if it was put together and done right....New leather interior ? Side pipes also ....If I didn't own two corvettes I would Definately check this one out.....Love the fact the motor is worked.....L-48 and L-82s are decent but the lines of the chrome bumpered C-3s cry out for horsepower..

Let us know if you do in fact check it out and if it's something you would consider....Will be watching....
