Yes, I agree. Many things make up a good car, but rust can be a deal killer. Another expensive issue is bulging rivets in front of the hood. Fixing it Correctly is Very expensive.
So, no rust or rivet worries with this car.

Solid Car!

I've owned two '70 LT-1 convertibles. Incredible experience to drive.

With the authentic documentation of an LT-1, and the original driveline in the car this is the real thing. Seen many lately?

Now, recognize the work and the costs incurred. And look at the result. Do I drive it or do I just admire it? Gorgeous car.

You did a terrific job and some wise and lucky individual will soon step up.

This car is extra nice, but not over the top so I do drive it very occasionally. Although, If I see a dark cloud a mile away, it stays in the garage.

Actually a few reasons; getting close to 70 so one less thing to worry about and take care of. I have a '96 LT4 roadster which I can actually drive more often without worry to have a little fun. I have 2 children and I recently helped one get out of a condo into a house. The other is in a condo, so selling it would be for a good cause.
All Original glass. No chips. Windshield NT=Jan 70, R-side VV=Dec 69, L-side NT

That's also how I manage mine too. Since the restoration in 2005 it had only added 1500 miles, I've added 6k in 16 months.

Good luck with the sale

Thank you. Would that additional space I see in your garage fit another LT-1?

What a fine car!
Maybe I missed this, but is the paint the original lacquer, or has it been repainted?

No it has been repainted base clear, although the door jambs are original paint.
No cracks on original dated door panels.

Thank you. It may seem like a large premium for an engine option, but driving one lets you know why. I don't think I've had it over 4500rpm, but at about 2500 it feels and sound great. I personally feel that all 3 years perform similar, but the '70 is the first choice for collectors. Good luck with your car.
