'68 or '69 4-speed T-Top Black/Black
Would like to buy a '68 or '69 4-speed, T-Top, Tuxedo Black with black interior.
My budget is $30,000-ish
I'm in the Indianapolis, Indiana area
The tilt/telescope option would be great, since I'm 6' 4". That makes ingress and egress less of a chore.
Frame must be solid! Significant rust anywhere is a deal breaker!
You will have lots of great pictures to show me, as well as detailed information of the car.
That's the basics, now on to "nice to have" items and general notes.
- No luggage rack
- No side pipes
- Ready to drive.
- I'm looking for a solid driver right out of the gate
- Could have things to fix that are fairly easy with time and elbow grease
- Solid motor
- Matching numbers would good but not tied to that if the car is nice and the price reflects that.
- Interior can't be musty but if it doesn't smell, I can work with it.

FWIW: no factory tilt for 68; tele only. Do you want a genuine black/black car per trim tag?

Thanks for that! I have a lot to learn. So a 68 could have the telescoping option? Or is it standard?
I went to the Auburn auction last Friday. I went to bid on a 69. It had the tilt, which was helpful. I guess I wasn't tuned in to how the telescoping feature worked. Is it the do-hicky that is at the base of the wheel, with a ring that you turn to lock and unlock?
