1974 Corvette Stingray Convertible
For sale is 1974 Corvette Stingray Convertible.
Car was an original L-82 car, but has undergone a complete "frame on" restoration. Originally the car 90k some miles. After restoration, the car has less than 10k miles. Power windows, power brakes, and A/C.
Modifications/Restoration include:
Engine and Drivetrain:
350/330 hp GM crate engine with vortec heads
Hooker Headers - Jet Hot coated
Full Aluminzed dual exhaust
Edelbrock permastar intake manifold
Edelbrok 650cfm carb
Stewart polished water pump
March aluminum pulleys
MSD ignition with box
Chrome A/C Compressor (never been charged for hooked up, because top was always down.)
TH400 transmission fully rebuilt to stock specifications
Exterior:
Professionally painted base/coat clear coat Torch Red. Every possible part on the car was separated and painted/buffed separately. Paint job alone was $10k.
Black canvas top
Boyd Coddington 17x8 wheels
Bridgestone RE730 tires
Interior:
Complete interior replacement, with new leather seats, door panels, carpet, steering wheel, and console. Very beautiful saddle interior.
Suspension/Brakes:
4 new stainless steel sleeved calipers and new rotors
Brand new (not remanufactured) full chrome master cylinder
Brand new power brake vacuum
New rubber lines all around
I'm sure there are a ton of other detailed items that was replaced, but you will just have to see to believe that this car has been gone through fully with no expense spared.
***Story on this car. This car was my father's pride and joy, and was owned/restored by him. He enjoyed this car as a weekend car shower and cruise in'er. My father was a perfectionist, and you can tell in this car. I am in the unfortunate need to downsize his estate as I no longer have room for toys.
My father passed away on August 2016, therefore it has not been started or driven in over a year. I personally do not have time to get the car running and driving, and as a C3 that sat inside for a year, I'm sure it will need some TLC to get things back to its driving self.
With that being said, if you want to purchase this car, please bring a flat bed and take it with you. I do not want anyone to try and attempt to fire this thing up in my garage.
SOLD! Clean and Clear title in hand. Price is negotiable if you are serious about buying.
Car is located near Charleston, WV.

I am in NC and the car is in WV. After sitting for a year, I'd want whoever wanted it to properly dispose of the old gas and oil, go through the brakes, battery, and etc. before starting. I am willing to work with a buyer on price, though the car needs nothing but those things mentioned above.

I let my old 92 sit for 2 years with 93 octane gas with ethanol in it. It started as soon as I bumped the key and ran perfectly. Now I didn't go out and beat on it till I put fresh gas in it but it sure could have been started to show a prospective buyer that it ran fine and didn't knock or rattle. Heck if your nervous about starting it in the garage pull it outside on the driveway.

Beautiful car. I could be interested. I'd like to know if everything works such as pop-up headlights and electrical. Even if starting is not an option, to at least know it turns over is important. I'm in Atlanta and would only make the trip with a trailer if I was reasonable sure I was going to buy.

If anyone wanted to buy it, I can arrange for you to look at the car as well as make a cash transaction with a relative who the car is currently with...
