'78 SA matching numbers 4 speed AC delete Project PRICED REDUCED AGAIN $4,000
This time I'm serious.
I really want a different project and I'm going to sell my '78.
The Good:
I bought this from a performance shop who pulled the motor, inspected the bottom end, reconditioned the heads with a new valve job and dropped the motor back in. New clutch, new master cylinder, new brake lines and new tires.
It's a numbers matching, 4 speed original AC delete car. I don't see any rust issues at all. I took the carpets out because they were shot and the floor pans have zero rust. This area is notorious for rust and there is none. PW, tele wheel
I also just put on a new true dual exhaust.
She runs and drives and shifts great. It needs a carb rebuild, but the one that's in there is fine. I do have one being rebuilt but I'm not sure I'll sell that with the car or not.
All exterior lights work, the headlights are slow but work. The blinkers and parking lights all work and even the reverse lights work.
The Bad:
It had gray primer on it when I got it and I scraped it off with a razor blade. Underneath is the original paint. It's in real rough shape, but you can see that it was an original two-tone car. There is still some primer on the bumpers and headlight covers. There has been no body work that I can see.
The interior is also all there, but it's in rough shape. One window isn't working and I believe its a bad switch. I have a new switch.
To the best of my knowledge, this car is solid mechanically. It needs cosmetics.
$4,000. You can't find too many 4 speed cars from 1978.
Here are some pictures. PM me if interested.
I'm in Westchester NY.
Thanks for looking!
