1973 L-48 Auto T-Top
I bought this car for my wife last winter for her birthday. I spent over 100 hours taking make items apart and detailing the car over the winter, it is all sorted out and ready to just get in a drive. Now that the summer is over we decided it just does not make sense for a family of 4 to have a 2 seat hobby car. It has treated us very well over the summer and my wife drives it all over Ohio. It regularly travels to northern Ohio which is 115 miles one way.
Specs:
1973 L48 auto W/O AC 72k miles
Was originally Elkhart Green with Saddle interior
Was painted Medium Red and converted to Black interior by the second owner
Engine was "freshened up" less that 5000 miles ago. at that time is was kept stock with the exception of the following:
GM L79 Cam
Edelbrock Performer intake
HEI Mallory distributor/coil
Holley 650 Carb
Non Engine upgrades:
New valve covers
Transgo Shift kit
Composite rear spring
Items that do not work:
Dash Clock
Trip odometer (regular odometer works fine)
There are some paint blemishes on the car that are noticeable as you get closer to it, I do have the paint codes from PPG that were used on the car.
The reason I bought this one is that is has ZERO rust on the frame and birdcage. It appears to have never been driven in anything other than light rain.
I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere as my wife does drive it quite a bit weekly.
I am asking 12,900 for it.
