1968 corvette
I just finished rebuilding this car and got it on the road and decided that finishing touches are not my strong suit. The car is complete running and driving but to make it a weekend driver/show car it's 90% done. The whole car is brand new/refurbished under the body. It was a body off rebuild so I did everything to make the chassis brand new.
Pros
500hp McLeod clutch
Rebuilt Muncie 4 speed
Rebuilt chevy 350
Edlebrock intake
Holley 750cfm vacuum secondary's
Electronic ignition
New flywheel
Aluminum radiator with electric fan
New forward wiring harnesses
New u joints
Upgraded 3 inch half shafts
3.73 rear end (refurbished)
All new chassis hardware
New custom 3 inch exhaust
Long tube headers
H-pipe
Cutouts
Chambered mufflers
4 inch tips
New body mounts
Torque thrust 2 (17x8)
Brand new tires
New brakes with drilled and slotted rotors
New fuel and brake lines
Sealed gas tank
Por15 top of frame
Undercoated body
New vacuum lines
T-tops and removable rear window
Upgraded to cs-130 alternator
I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings
Cons
Paint is chipped but otherwise good condition (5 footer)
Chrome needs work
Interior is decent but should be restored
Dash wiring harness has issues somewhere (might be un grounded) (new harness is $500)
Bottom of chassis needs por15 still (may do this myself)
Needs weather stripping
The car is great and I just got it aligned. less than 100 miles driven after rebuild. I'm the 3rd owner. Also No power steering and no power brakes. I also have spare parts if you want some with the car for the right price. Finish it to your liking over the winter and enjoy it all spring and summer. Please call with any questions or offers. (I don't need to sell the car I just want a year round car instead) the car is not numbers matching but I have all of the paper work. Located in Minnesota. Let me know if you want pictures
