thanks, it`s the third of three Owens-Corning built cars (sister car to the one Nascar team owner Rick Hendrick paid $1,100,000 for a Barrett-Jackson three or four years ago), available but expensive, my avatar shows it "as raced" in Germany 71-72, I have two others a bit more affordable, send a PM if your a serious buyer.

This one may be beyond resurrecting, but if you are on face book, search under Greenwood Corvette Race Cars around Oct 5. There is what appears to be a early 70's IMSA Camel GT shell in the woods. It is located in Florida. My last contact with the owner is that it's free, come get it, but needs to be gone by Nov 21. It may be gone by now. I passed on it since it is way past my skills to bring it back to life.

Not sure if this one is still available. It was a very nice build worth the money. PM sent also. Good luck with your search.

I am not sure how your search is going but you might consider buying a project car and then make it your own race replica car. Many here are having fun doing that now including me. Far more affordable then the SCCA cars but still share the spirit of high hp, handling, etc. Some are even refined enough to have A/C so you can drive it to your next show.
Have fun with your search and your build.

Your car in the second link is unbelievable. Stan does some nice work, don't know if I would have the patience to wait for the finished product.
Thanks for sharing the links.

I should have mine back from Gordon and ready to review this Spring. If you want to make a day trip down to me in Easton, PA I would be glad to put it on the lift and let you go over it top to bottom and see what i am building to get you some ideas for consideration.
Just another set of ideas for you. If you want to follow my thread it is here on the forum, just search "AllVettes4Me" posts and you find my 72 Road Race Replica.
Let me know if I can help.
Best regards,
David Howard

I actually was considering the car in the first link a couple of years ago and didn't make the trip to look at it. Unfortunately it has since sold. Thats pretty much what I would like to find or build now.
Your car in the second link is unbelievable. Stan does some nice work, don't know if I would have the patience to wait for the finished product.

Thank you for the generous offer to view your car in person. It is hard for me to travel right now as I am a caregiver for my wife who does not travel well.
