78 Pace Car For Sale
1978 Corvette Pace Car...37,637 Original Miles....$15,999......Nice Driver
This car is something you can take to a car show or drive on a Sunny afternoon and not feel bad about it because it is not some trailer queen. It's a nice driver quality and great value classic Corvette. It could climb significantly in value in coming years. This is one of only 6,502 Pace Cars made in 1978. The interior is in great shape. The engine bay is in great shape. I have had the car for 2 years and only put 800 miles on it. I have spent many hours in the garage restoring it and it has been garaged and pampered since I've had it.
Specs:
#5261 of 6502 Pace Cars Produced, L-48 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Power Windows, Power Locks, 8-Track AM/FM Radio, Rear Defogger, Tilt Wheel, MIRRORED T-Tops in Excellent Condition!
BRAND NEW ITEMS within the past 800 miles:
Exhaust and Mufflers, 4 Shocks, Rear Brake Calipers and Pads, Steering Wheel, Front Speakers, A/C Conversion to R-134a, all Belts, Power Steering Jack, Valve Cover Gaskets, Gauge Cluster Lenses, Optima Red Top Battery, Center Console Trim Pieces, Gear Shifter Lens, Ash Tray, Lighter, Lighter Tray Lid, Door Weatherstripping, T-Top Weatherstripping, Hood Weatherstripping, Hood Scissor Support, Air Cleaner Cover, Gear Shift ****, Wheel Centercaps, Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Interior A/C Vents, Interior Rear Storage Compartment Decals, Rear Storage Compartment Bins, Radio Antenna, All Emblems (front, rear, sides), Fuel Pump
It has a Fresh Oil Change, 8-Track tapes for the player. It also has authentic 1978 Texas Plates and it is registered as an Antique Vehicle.
The tires are dated May 2007. She leaks a little bit of oil. The original R-12 a/c was converted to R-134a and it has a leak somewhere in the system so the leak needs to be identified and it needs a re-charge once repaired. The A/C compressor is new so I know its not that. The paint is shiny and looks good from 10 feet away. In some areas it is really nice but in others there are flaws in the paint. it has some spider webbing, cracking, wavy urethane bumpers. It also has other paint imperfections such as rock chips, misc blemishes and imperfections of varying types.
Definitively a head turning C3.
