Default 1975 Corvette Greenwood Sportswagon

I am helping an older gentleman (with no computer) sell his super rare 1975 Corvette Greenwood Station Wagon. In 1978 he purchased this 1975 Corvette and decided he did not want his Vette to look like everyone else so he began to create this beautiful 70s classic! He did the following:

Greenwood Sportswagon Kit
Ecklers Tilt Front End
Redone front and rear suspension
3.70 gears
1979 Corvette interior and wiring
Rebuilt 350 with 3 quarter cam
Converted to 4-speed
New Wheels (no spacers)
Big block radiator
New radio
16,xxx miles on the car

Less than two dozen Greenwood station wagon kits were ever sold, really unsure how many are left on the road. These kits were an improvement over the early Eckler kit that was sold for the 68-73 Corvettes as the Greenwood has full side windows that curve with the roof line. The Greenwood also an operable rear hatch that opens with a button.

As you can see from the photos this car is in mint condition. The owner only drove it car shows as he had it licensed as a show car. The rest of the time it sits in his garage. As he told me, "It has never seen rain." He has owned this car since 1978 and has gone through the entire vehicle as you can see from the photos. He is asking $35,000 for it.

If you have additional questions please contact me.

I don’t usually like cars that have been modified, but that’s really cool. Love the old-school custom paint! Looks to have been well executed and well loved!

The man is very particular about it. They did a really good job putting it together. Had a place called D&A Corvette put the kit on, and that place is still in business today. The guy that runs it is in his 70s and he still restores Vettes from the frame up.

The forum has very specific requirements for selling for other people:

Site users sometimes list Corvettes for a friend or relative who is unable to market and sell the car for themselves for some legitimate reason.

We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.

It hasn’t worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. That’s potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.

Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:

* The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car
* The role the thread starter will play in the sale
* And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Threads failing to address those points will be removed by moderators.

Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.
