Default SOLD ------ 1973 Convertible - project

numbers matching motor.
the car was taken off the road sometime in the late 80's early 90's by the previous owner.
currently I have a completed rolling chassis. everything on the chassis has either been replaced with new or rebuilt.
car was originally an automatic (I have the automatic that came with the car) I was switching it to a 4 speed.

Motor rebuilt
rebuilt Quadrajet carb
new stainless steel fuel lines and brake lines installed
new fuel tank
new fuel tank sending unit
trailing arms rebuilt by Vtech Corvette
Rear Differential rebuilt Vtech Corvette
Rebuilt BW Super T10 Transmission
rebuilt brake calipers
new rotors and pads
new front wheel bearings
new rally wheels
new tires
upgraded steering box with Power steering.
suspension rebuilt

body is off the frame and needs to be redone.
the body has a rusted rocker channel on the left side, and some rust on the windshield frame.
I have another rocker channel to put in, new upper corners for the windshield frame and a new lower center section for the windshield frame.

I have some of the interior pieces (seats, instrument cluster, passenger dash, console top, etc)
I have the convertible top along with a factory hard top, new radiator support, new AC condenser, as well as LOTS of other assorted parts for the car.
I lost interest in restoring the car and just want to sell it and make room for other projects.

$8000.00 or best offer.

parts that I don't have are the rest of the interior (carpet, top dash pad, console, console armrest), windshield, mufflers (I have the rest of the exhaust), radiator, power steering pump, starter, AC compressor (have the old ones for cores) misc other small stuff to finish the car..

I'm sure I may have left out some things but that's the big stuff.

Man...I would LOVE to snap this up and pick up on this project where you left off. My problem is that transport from NJ to Indy would be major logistical nightmare. Damn....

I've even still got all of my 1973 books, manuals and notes from the last '73 I restored...this would be a GREAT car to finish, you've done outstanding work up to this point!!

GLWS!!

Regards,

Dave

Bump for a great project, I wish I had some extra cash, my 72 project won't allow it right now. Nuts......

Is the car an L48 or L82? Does it still have the trim tag? If so what was the original color combo? Thanks!
