Default price on 69 vette

Hi guys. Ive been looking for a 1969 corvette for a restomod project. I think I found a good candidate. Not sure if this is a fair price or not. The motor doesnt really mean much to me because im going to put something else in it anyways. Any thoughts on the value of this one? Thanks for all input. Here is the link https://www.corvette-for-sale.com/ve...oject-car.html

PS if anyone sees a 1969 corvette project that has good body birdcage and frame please let me know. It doesnt matter if it has engine/trans. Looking to build a nice restomod

It really depends on the condition of all the parts. if the body and paint are good and dosn t need a fresh up the the $11k is not unreasonable. allways see the car in person. I have been looking for a 68-69 for 6-8 months but still havent found the right one for me Good luck

Love the black

With the price that some people ask for there 69s,this looks like a Frigin bargain....Granted, most everything looks good in photos, you really have to go and look....The benefit here is that you plan on resto modding it...Chrome bumpered C 3s whether there modded or not seem to bring nice money.....

Wonder why there are no photos of the engine though.......Good luck....Keep us posted and if possible, give us the selling price if you buy it..

Hi La,
It LOOKS like an o.k. car at that price.
The first question that needs to be answered is .... is this car RUSTY?
Both the entire birdcage and frame need to be carefully checked out.
There's NO reason to start your project with a car that has 'rust repair' as the FIRST thing that needs to be dealt with.
Regards,
Alan

For those that are interested in a 1969 I've got one that is for sale, but I have not got around to listing it as I'm not in a big hurry, but after owning it for about 37 years it can be bought now. Just a few details. Bought it with about 34,000 miles, current miles is about 42,000. I bought it in the county that I live in, it's had a couple of owners, but never left the county. The original owner is still around and I've talked with him several times. It is Lemans Blue with a Bright Blue interior. 4 speed. Original motor was a 427/390. It has a NOM 454 that I had rebuilt just after I bought it. No rust being in Tennessee. Price is in the mid 30's. PM me if interested. Just so you know, the reason for selling is I bought a new C-7 Grand Sport.

I have a nice ‘68 convertible (almost a ‘69).
Excellent body, rust free frame, birdcage, windshield frame.
Body is striped of paint and in gel coat.
No interior (but can supply any all of it if needed).
Has good soft top frame.
Can come with small or big block hood (or real L88 hood)
No wiring harnesses, but can supply if u do not go new.
Suspect u might be using different headlights, but I have an excellent set of assemblies if needed.
Bare body on rolling chassis with soft top frame—-$6,500.00

in Michigan
purchased my 69l46 here on the forum in 2008 from member ted h, im thinking of selling, need about 18500.
pm me a cell number, I can send some photos, no member preferred, just easier to get out to see it. I'm looking at trading for I'm well if rather not say, but it's not a vette.....
my 69 is a nicer orig, drivetrain l46 4spd 411 ps,70miglia red, looks like the day I bought it from Ted h.....kust never got around to restoring it, rather just did maintenance and drove it a few times spring through fall....

Please post your cars for sale in their own, new threads for maximum exposure, guys. You can PM these suggestions to the OP to be sure he sees them as he might not be back here.
