Default 1973 Coupe - North Texas (DFW)

[UPDATE] Car is sold. Thank you everyone for your interest.

I purchased the car in January of 2013 as quite a project. While I have a lot of energy and a ton of money in the car, my family has expanded, I'm in a new house, and I just can't see myself having the time or finances to finish the job in the near future.

I think you'll find the number of replacement parts substantial. I can provide most receipts/invoices to the buyer. For major components I got assistance from reputable shops like LG Motorsports and Carr's Customs (thus part of my investment $$$). The below list is largely chronological. Given the changes you'll see below the car can really get after it if you give it some throttle.

~2,400 miles on new GM 290/350 crate
-new HEI distributor, plugs, wires, thermostat
-Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold
-Magnaflow mufflers and 2.5" BBC exhaust pipe kit
-various hoses, bolts, etc.

~1,500 miles on Goodyear Eagle F1 all season tires 245/ZR18, Boss 338 wheels 18"x8"
-VBP stainless sleeved, o-ring calipers, stainless brake line kit, pad/rotor kit, front cad shields
-VBP 360# rear monospring with poly bushings and 550# front coil springs
-Bilstein sport shocks
-VBP offset trailing arms with rebuilt bearing assemblies and poly bushings, front wheel bearing/seal kits
-VBP heavy duty tie-rod ends and sleeves
-VBP rear camber links with poly bushings
-VBP power steering rebuild kit
-new Flaming River steering box & rag joint
-front wheel studs, poly end links, poly sway bar bushings

-new retractable seat belts (shoulder and lap)
-new carpet, leather, foam, and floor mats
-new rear compartment lid and carpet
-new battery
-various interior trim pieces
-new front grilles and marker assemblies

-Rear-end flushed ~1,400 miles ago

-Steel Cities Gray paint (originally silver) - not show car paint, looks great, but shows some wear (painted in 2015)
-new tru-flex front bumper cover
-rechromed rear bumpers and new SS exhaust bezels
-various exterior bumps/screws/gaskets/stripping
-rear window seal

~1,000 miles on cam/heads - Comp Cams cam and lifter kit (XE262H-10), Blueprint heads, new rods
-Holley 670cfm Street Avenger carburetor
-1 3/4" ceramic coated Hooker headers
-new gas tank, several stainless fuel hoses, new mechanical fuel pump and new sending unit, fuel lines flushed
-new engine/trans mounts
-new stainless air cleaner
-[edit] new rocker assembly installed 6/15/18

~1,000 miles on Bowtie Overdrives stage 2 700r4 (new yoke, shifter plate, etc.), Bowtie Overdrives 2,200 stall converter, Shiftworks shifter kit

Other Parts Available:
~1,400 miles on rebuilt TH400 with Circle D converter (1,800-2,000 stall)
-1/4" hubcentric billet aluminum spacers
-original Quadrajet (code is for period correct factory replacement)
-GMPP heads from crate engine
-original (possibly?) spare tire

Parts/Work Needed:
-air conditioning, factory plumbed
-door panels, have new carpet/wood, but vinyl torn/dried
-various interior trim pieces (i.e. sun visors)
-have never been inside the doors or behind the dash (i.e. speakers out, windows crank slower than I'd like, etc.)
-various rattles
-small power steering leak, appears to be from valve [edit] replaced power steering valve 6/15/18
-missing a center cap or two for wheels

Spent all weekend buying things for the kids, so my motivation to sell has continued to grow. Let me know if you have interest or questions.

I'd humor all reasonable offers, but I've got $30,000 for the car in my head. Car would be sold 'as is.' I'll be losing money at that price point as is typically the case on projects. I'm in no rush, but figured I'd see who's interested (please PM me for more required details).
