I am wanting to buy a '78 through '82 C3
I do not want a car that has the front and rear spoilers
I am interested in daily drivers all the way through cars that are completely restored
I am located in the San Francisco Bay area but can travel by plane anywhere in the US to inspect the car. I or a delegate will definitely be inspecting the car.
I can pay you in cash or cashiers check and I can meet you at your bank so you can validate the payment if you are concerned about any fraud
I am a serious buyer. I have muscle cars and some British sports cars and am looking for a C3 vette to play with
I would prefer an automatic but will consider a 4 speed if it is the right car
So, let me know what you guys have. It may be perfect for me.
Here's mine.... It's every bit as nice (most likely nicer) than some of the other 78 SA cars above, but at a realistic price to move it. Car is worth every bit of 16-18k in my opinion (dealer would likely list in there), I just think its time to move on from it (had it over 13 years, spent more than I even want to admit on it). Had it sold (so I thought), but the guy never flew in. I'm an open book and you can check my post history for anything that I had done on the car, will also tell you anything / everything you want to know.
Have a folder full of history all the way back to day 1, and all orig. books, warranty guides, orig odometer statement, orig bill of sale, many of the subsequent bills of sale, etc..
Raydog, that’s a great car and price. I should have added one stipulation on what I am looking for. Ideally I am looking for a car with black interior. External color I’m open to but I would prefer a black interior. But that’s a good looking car you have!
Just saw a 17k mile silver '78 L82 not anniversary sell for $14k at Barrett Jackson. Wow.
Keep in mind you have to pay 10-12% bidder premium on anything you buy there. 10% on site, and 12% phone/internet. Even then still a good price likely, but all depends on condition.
You don’t want a rear spoiler but all 80-82 have the built in rear spoiler, if that’s ok take a look at my 82 in the classified section. I have tons of money invested and the paint is show quality base/clear.
Have a 1979 L-82 with 34,900 miles automatic transmission. No wings. Has a new driver quality dark green paint that is very beuatiful and is the factory color. It has the tan/cloth interior in excellent shape. New dual exhaust and B.F. Goodrich lettered tires. The engine is 100% original and has all the ignition shielding and underhood pieces that most cars dont. It even has the original smog pump in place and working. It is not advertised anywhere. I am sure when I do it will be gone. Have paperwork. I am the forth owner. Original aluminum wheels beautiful. 15500.00.

Looks like it’s beeb repainted at some point.
1977. Not my car but see it around town. Located in Glastonbury, CT. Let me know if you want some more info on it.
