Default 1968 Corvette History Search!! Please help!!

Hello,
I am hoping to find the original owners of my car or any history of it’s past. The car was originally sold at Robert DeNooyer Chevrolet in Holland, Michigan in 1968. It’s an L-79 convertible, and was LeMans Blue (976) exterior with a dark blue (411) vinyl interior. The car was owned by two people in the same Michigan family from 1968 to 2005 when restored and sold. When restored it was painted Magnetic Red (C5 color) and the interior was changed to black vinyl and had a camel colored vinyl top. The VIN is 194678S421554. I believe it was sold in 2005 from a close suburb of Detroit, to a gentleman that lived in Montana at the time and was in the military (and bought the car for a ranking promotion gift to self).

Thanks in advance to anyone that may be able to assist. I am hoping to jog someone’s memory, and open to any suggestions or tips.

JC

Looks like your car ended up in Florida.

You might want to move this thread to the General section as this is the For Sale area. You might get more people to see it.

I see you haven't listed your car on the C3 registry. Might be a good idea, if someone from the past is looking for it they could share some information with you. I check occasionally for the '69 Coupe that I owned in '74 but it's not listed.
Good luck.
