Default 1973 Corvette Convertible

Sold

1973 Corvette Convertible

I have been a member of this forum for 20 years, one of the first 8,000 to join back in 1999. It has been a privilege to be a member of this great group and to own such a wonderful American Icon of a car.

Available is a 1973 Corvette convertible. I have restored much of the car during my ownership although there are too many repairs/upgrades to list. I’ve only driven the car about 5,000 miles so anything that has been serviced has very little drive time on the parts.

The previous owner added 1980 exterior panels and interior creating a unique appearance and that of a 1980-1982 convertible.

I have receipts for most if not all of the parts. I’ve made to many repairs/upgrades to list. I am including the more significant areas that have been serviced/restored.

Engine:

· 350 Chevy engine with rebuilt Vortec heads

· Carter 625 carburetor

· Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake

· Electric fan with Painless Wiring harness

· Replaced radiator

Transmission:

· Mustang Cobra aftermarket Tremec Z-spec 5 speed transmission with overdrive

· New Clutch

· New Slip Yoke

· New u-joints

Steering:

· Borgeson upgrade power steering system

· New flex joint (rag joint)

· Replaced turn signal switch

Front Suspension:

· New upper and lower a-arms with poly bushings

· New upper and lower ball joints

· Strut reinforcement bar

· Billstein Shocks

· New Big Block coil spring

· New Sway Bar with poly bushings

Rear Suspension:

· Restored differential (has 3.55 ration gears)

· Restored half shafts

· Replaced 7 leaf spring

· Replaced trailing arms (from VanSteel)

· New rear sway bar with poly bushings

Other Modifications:

· C5 seats

· C5 wheels

· Added 3 point seat belts

· New top

· New header bar with power coat (these are often rusted out)

· 165 mph speedometer

· Replaced all brake calipers with stainless sleeved units

· Upgraded stereo

Replaced steering wheel, sun visors and door panels

Sell Price $7,900 or best offer

Please IM me with any questions.

Do you have any pictures of the engine and interior. Whereabouts are you located. I like the look of your car.

I have sent emails to everyone that has sent me an IM. You should have received 3 emails. I can only attach so many pics to an email due to size limitation. Let me know if you did not receive all 3 emails.

It would be difficult. The 73 had a chrome front bumper and a urethane rear bumper.

Thanks for the correction. Either way would be challenging to add back chrome bumper.

Heck, for $7,900 that's a lot of car....and a convertible too! Leave it as is and enjoy it.
Does the A/C work?
Good luck selling.
