68-72 Convertible
I have been off and on in this forum for many years, yet still have not taken the plunge. I really have decided that now is the time. In looking at values, it seems the chrome bumper C3s are really starting to take off.
So... higher end driver, as original as possible, small block, manual. Recently restored, though I am not looking for a concourse-level version.
I did not act in time for a local LT-1 that was restored 20 years ago, it still was in amazing shape, it sold for $49K a couple of days after being posted.
For a cash purchase I am looking at the 20-30K range, but would go higher if someone was looking to trade. I have to believe there is someone who would like to trade for a luxury SUV. I have a 2017 Jaguar F-PACE S with 17K miles that would be considered.
This is what I am looking for, but am not expert enough to know if it is at all original. Can anyone here give it a look and let me know what you think? I am trying to get as much education on the C3 as I can, but I know there are some real experts here. This one hits the looks button hard... red on black... but I know sometimes a shiny object does not make a wise purchase.
Thanks all!

EDIT: Searching the C3 registry for the VIN 194670S408566, came up only on the engine stamp, picture said it was in a different corvette, so I assume this one is not numbers matching.
