Default 1969 Black or Blue Convertible w/ factory sidepipes

Dear Corvette Forum Community,

I am seeking to purchase a 1969 Black or Blue Convertible with factory sidepipes.

I am open to any engine 350ci/300hp all the way through the big blocks as long as it is matching numbers.

Transmission can be automatic or stick...no real preference.

I prefer a convertible but may be open to a 1969 Black or Blue Coupe, so long as it has the factory sidepipes.

I live in Central Florida but I am willing to travel or have the car checked out for me and shipped.

Thank you for reading.

Very Truly,
Scott

When you say “factory sidepipes,” do you mean the car has to be verifiable as from the factory with sidepipes or is a factory pipe install with as-factory conversion to the rear valance and quarter panels so it’s not detectable, OK?

Price will really depend on the car's options and the repairs needed.

I am okay with the conversion to factory sidepipes as that is what I had on a prior 69.

I located a 69 BB Convertible that I am interested in.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these companies for a Pre-prurchase inspection:

Lemon Squad (https://lemonsquad.com/used-car-inspections/classic) or Expert Auto Appraisals (https://expertautoappraisals.com/)

If so, any feedback?

Very Truly,
Scott

So what state is the car in? I might know a few good options. Personally I would hire an appraisal company that has experience with corvettes.

Good advice. Many advertised “appraisers” and classic auto inspectors wouldn’t even notice if a ‘77 nose was glued onto a ‘69 if done cleanly.

I know where there is a 69 tuxedo black coupe for sale. L36, 390 HP with N14 side exhaust if you are interested.
