Beautiful car; the only thing I see wrong with it is the weatherstrip along the cowl should actually be attached to the hood and not the body of the car. No big deal but, something to be aware of. GLWS.

Thanks for your input. Curious - I realize my initial asking price may have been unrealistic. Thought $30,500 would generate some interest. It hasn't.
Would love to hear what the assembled group thinks the value is.

Thanks - would like to sell to make room (and help pay for) for a C2. Not in a rush - at 20k I'll wait and see what the market does in a year or so.
Appreciate your input!

I would wait too if I were you. It always amazes me about our Corvettes; we treat them with great care; to the point that we rarely take them out in the rain yet when it comes time to sell we're lucky to get what someone else might get to a base model Camaro. Sometimes I think we, Corvette owners, are our own worst enemies when it comes to elevating the values of our cars.

GLWS but, don't give it away if you don't have to.

Plus no A/C, no power windows, no tilt/tele. The radio is original you said, but does it work well? Are the fibre optics intact? I'm not trying to take pot-shots at your gorgeous car, just offering thoughts as you requested why 30k isn't the sweet-spot for it. GLWS.

You have a beautiful 69. The soft C3 market has been discussed on CF many times. Even the chrome bumper cars take a long time to sell. I've been following sales for about a year. One car that comes to mind is an Elkhart green 72 coupe, well optioned, A/C, tilt, etc. It is an automatic. This car has been offered by a mid-west Corvette specialist since at least last summer. $26,900 They have sold several BBs and 3 LT-1s since then. You may want to list it on Hemmings internet site. There are very few "cheap" C3s listed there. It's prime selling time. Hang with it for a while. Your buyer is out there. You just need to give the car enough exposure to find him. If you wait a year or two, the market could be better, or worse. GLWS
