There was a Brandshatch Green Original paint 71 LT1 roadster with 40k miles - did it bid to $57k?
I thought it might do 60k ...
So IMHO $57k isn't bad, the car desperately needs a clean up and the paint needs some TLC...
I would love to look it over, IT MUST BE AN EARLY CAR... it has 70 grilles and 70 side vents.
Midyr and I were discussing these earlier...
We had a 75k price on the Yellow 70...
and based on that I figured the 71 was a 60k car. - so 57k is in the neighborhood, wonder what the reserve was?
What about the coupe?
What's the number on the White Red 72 coupe with 75k miles?
The radiator cap and rad brackets look awfully rusty, that makes me wonder about the rest of the car.

The white / red coupe is one of those also, #U97.1, 75k miles.

The green car was parked with the other 2 all week, listed for Sunday with very close numbers (U97, 97.1) consecutive sales. Not sure if they were the same seller, but clears marketed together for Sunday. I’m home already so didn’t see them run through.

The green ‘71 had reserve removed at 35k and hammered at $35k.
Guess everyone had caught their flights back home.

Yup
‘71 was a great buy.
Good thing the owner placed a reserve on the ‘70. Would like to think there would be some post-auction action. I believe ANYONE can contact MECUM and place a bid as part of their standard auction process. Who knows, you might get lucky!

Here is what appears to be a good deal on a 71 2-top LT-1. $45,000 Canadian is about $33k US

There was NO ONE there... WISH I WERE THERE I would have owned the Green Roadster. - it has paint issues which held it back, it was owned since 1990 - probably picked it up for the mid 20's or less at that time.

The color appears correct from the close up, - and my computer monitor is calibrated using a graphics color bar.
Would be a good buy in US dollars.
