Default 1969 L46 coupe for sale

I have decided to sell my factory black (900 code) 1969 L46 coupe after 13 years of ownership. I have loved owning this car but, it's time I recognized that I hardly ever drive it, I am not a mechanic so I am at the mercy of the folks I find to work on it. I'd rather have it in the hands of someone who can fully enjoy the car. I am asking $26,000.00 for the car.

It is a numbers matching car equipped as follows;
  • Factory black paint (900 code / relatively rare). The paint appears to have been redone sometime in its lifetime. It has some orange peel but, looks and shines great. I am sure a good detail shop well versed in paint correction could get it looking like new.
  • Saddle vinyl interior. I have had new foam installed in the seats along with new Al Knoch seat covers. New carpets installed over Fat Mat sound deadener.
  • Transistorized ignition; rebuilt by Dave Fielder at TI Specialty
  • Power Windows
  • Manual Brakes (all new calipers that have stainless sleeves. New Master cylinder and brake lines)
  • Power Steering
  • Tilt - Telescopic wheel
  • Speed Warning indicator
  • 3.70:1 posi-traction rear
  • Side grille trim
  • AM/FM stereo (not installed but goes with the car)
  • Just had a new oil pump and pickup tube installed
I have a folder full of receipts for parts purchases as well as service records. Sadly I do not have a tank sticker or any other such documentation. I also have a bunch of spare parts and/or parts that were removed or replaced over the years; they go with the car.
I have the correct Rallye Wheels for the car; I will be swapping the current rubber onto them prior to the sale. The American Racing T70's are available and can be negotiated into the sale if the new owner wants them.

I don't have to sell the car; it's not costing me anything to keep it in my garage but, like I said, I'd rather let someone else enjoy it.

small area of windshield (lower passenger area) that appears to show signs of delamination maybe

Not sure if you can see them but, drivers side and passengers side door glass have vertical scratches in them.

WOW that will not last long...
I am interested in the wheels IF the new owner doesn't want them.

I hope it doesn't last long but, you never know. I think you're also a member of the Yenko site. If the buyer, whoever that might be, doesn't want the rims I will give you first shot.

Great car at a great price. My favorite color combination.

Dave: just figured out who you are. Hope you don't regret selling. Such a nice car, and so well maintained.

Default car is sold

Well it looks like my 1969 Corvette is going to a new home (very sad). A nice gentleman came to look the car over; he is an NCRS judge. Loved the car and wants it for his son's collection; he assured me that they are not purchasing the car to flip it.

The new owner was not interested in the aftermarket rims I had put on the car so I swapped them for the original rally wheels. Took some new photos of the car with the rallys back on; I think they look great on the car too. I am going to be sad to see the car go but, knowing that Ron and his son will be good caretakers and bring it to the next level is a comfort to me.

Thank you; I think it's a very special car that deserves to be brought to a higher standard than what my skill level and finances would allow. I can't wait to see what Ron and his son do to the car; should be a stunner when they're done with it. I have no doubt that this car will be winning all kinds of NCRS awards in the coming years.

Congrats on the quick sale! It’s amazing what can happen if you take a really nice.car and price it well.
