That is a beautiful Corvette, is that the original color for 73? I ask because a friend of mine had a 73 dark blue ext with black interior combo but with a 454 engine back in the 70's I loved his car.
Did you happen to refreshin the AC system too? compressor etc. etc. ?

thank you

Thanks. Yes, it is the correct color. Pretty much everything on the car is correct. I’ve made a few performance changes, but I have retained all of the original parts. The air conditioning system is new and complete, including compressor, hoses, VIR and relays. It’s been a fun car to learn about and drive.

I know the owner Greg , as he is in our local corvette club in suburban Milwaukee. . Greg is meticulous about the care and maintenance of the C3.
It is as good as it looks in the photos and mechanically in terrific shape.

Thanks John, your car looks very cool as well. It’s not a perfect car, but all the hard stuff is done. I would like to see that it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

Thanks! The color is what sold me originally, it gets a lot of attention at parades and cruise nights.

I think I know what you mean by different animal....I have a C4ZR1 pushing over 500 HP...Thing is I get more looks and comments when I'm driving the 73 vert.....I think only the enthusiasts know what you mean by different animal.....The regular car folk really don't understand...

Funny you mention that, I was in a parade this weekend with the C6, all I got was crickets and yawns. The 73 is always a crowd pleaser. I hope the millennials come to appreciate the older stuff, I guess you just don’t know what you don’t know.

Just read an interesting article on C7 wheels that are failing, C3’s can still be repaired with hand tools, and no OBDII needed!
