71 for sale
this is my 71. is a small block with some hi po parts on it. i've put about 200 miles on it in the last 5 years. i just drive to some meets and around the country roads where i live. has sportsman II heads perfor. rpm holley hp 750 double pumper full competion 350 trans msd street fire ign. stock factory rally's.had it painted to look good so i could drive it. lot of factory stuff is still on it.seems everybody was asking about frame rust. frame looks a 71 frame but i did not see any holes on it. billstein front koni rear.new fuel tank.have one too many hot rods now and would like to downsize (i'll be 72 in a couple months). 10,000.not too interested in trades but would look.

Am I wrong in thinking this car is about 10k too cheap?? C3 prices confuse me so much.

Your correct when you say- C3 prices confuse me so much..The chrome bumpered ones especially....When you go look at them most need work, and I'm not talking a few hundred dollars worth...
Just had a mechanic buddy of mine spend 25 hours sorting through mine....If I would have bought it to a reg shop my bill would have been over $2,500 dollars....
This 71 looks good....Def worth checking out since he only wants 10 grand..

i don't think so. what i think it would take to make it a 8-10 would be about 20,000. this is a good looking 71 and runs very good. i can drive it anytime. i'm retired and have two hot rods and would like to downsize. if you want a spotless 71 i would separate the body from the frame and go that way. several of my hot rod buddies have told me that this vette is priced on the money. a restorer would know much more about this than me but i have been around the muscle cars since the late fifty's. this is a car that can be driven and restored at the same time if you wanted to go that way. thanks for the reply.
