79 4-speed with lots of performance parts, Kansas City
Hey everyone, testing the waters on selling my 1979 4-speed. I have a build thread on here (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ld-thread.html ) for full documentation of the work done over the years.
Summary:
Brodix aluminum heads
Lunati 268 Cam and lifters
Edelbrock Vic jr. intake
FAST EZ Efi fuel injection with all AN fittings and braided lines
Performance distributor with magna-core wires
Doug's headers and side pipes
STS baffles
Ridler 675 Wheels with Summer tires
Bilstein suspension all around
Composite rear spring
3.55:1 rear gears with Grade 8 ring bolts
Led headlights and tail lights
New carpet
New Weatherstripping kit
Rebuilt trailing arms and wheel bearings
Probably some other things I can't remember at the moment. Never fails to start, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am selling because most nice days I have been riding motorcycles with my wife and the Corvette hasn't been getting driven quite as much. No mechanical problems that I can think of. Cosmetically, there is a crack in one of the T tops (has been professionally sealed), the paint has some scratches and what not (normal wear and tear, the main ones being a crack a small crack in the corner of the hood, rock chips on the nose, some paint bubbles on the hood, and a deeper scratch on the rear bumper cover), and I've been working on converting the interior to all black (hence the black carpet, dash pieces, steering wheel etc...) so the original cream colored dash could use some loving.
30k miles on the motor and transmission, 107k on the body
$10,000 OBO. I am still on the fence about selling this as I have put a ton of time and money into it, so reasonable offers only please.
