If it's just overspray, use a claybar and elbow grease.

If it's household paint like latex or oil based? Or was it lane marking paint? Any of these will come off with rubbing alcohol. Just remember to re-wax where you have cleaned.

I drove over some wet road paint, that white stuff they use to paint the lines.. nothing could get it off, I clayed for hours with little success Then I tried goofoff, took everything off in a few minutes I was afraid it would take off the original paint on my car but it didn't. I've used it on other types of paint and it removed the original paint, but if nothing works I'd try this in a small spot and see if it helps. Just be careful, this would be a last resort.

I have used lacquer thinner successfully to remove road line paint.

... I drove over fresh yellow lines and sprayed the entire drivers side with little yellow specs on a bright red car... and nothing took it out. I ended up having to repaint the car.
