Default Be the first!!!

Yes, you can be the first to donate to the “Build Ed a Supercar” fund.

This is entirely not for profit, if you guys pitch in and pay for the upgrades notated on this link,
http://=http://www.lingenfelter.com/...s1corvette.asp
I will buy the base car.

How much you may ask, let your conscience be your guide is my advice. I am only offering this opportunity to a very limited group of my close friends who are able understand the need for me to have a supercar.

Furthermore, I promise to never sell the car (hence, not for profit) and maintain it as you would your own supercar. In addition, for your meager investment I promise annually give each of you a ride (weather permitting, 5 mile radius) and the opportunity to have your picture taken with OUR car.

AS AN ADDED BONUS!
The top investor will be allowed to DRIVE THE CAR around the block, police escort will be provided by Officer Mike Jones JSO.

Hurry, do not make me ask you twice and embarrass you by informing your friends that your donation has not been received yet.

Make checks, cashiers checks and Money orders or stock transfers payable to “Build Ed a Supercar” or cash
No paypal
Cash is always apprcaiated

See ya at the dragstrip.
Your buddy,
Ed

Hey Ed,

I need a couple of things before I donate.

Lets see...your bank name and account number. SSN and date of birth. Mothers maiden name and your complete address. That'll do for a start.

Yup all mine, but I would be willing give one up (I'll need the garage space) once you guys come up with the cake for my/OUR supercar.

Ya see, it's people like you like to twist things around and give not profit oragnizations a bad name. Your implying that my intentions are other than honorable....
When was the last time you donated your hard earned cash to the United Way and got anything but a mass produced thank you note? Your donations to those orgs all spent on overhead, at "Build Ed a Supercar" we have zero overhead (I'm even using this free forum to avoid the need of licking stamps), all donations go straight to my pocket and then to lingenfelter (once the $45K) is raised. Until that time I promise to periodically update you all with the progress of this very worthy cause.

Just foolin' around my two vettes arent worth as much as most of the C4's in this forum.

BTW, if you really belive that I would seroiusly ask you guys for $ I have a bridge in San Francisco for sale. Yes its made of gold.......

I read of your plight with tears in my eyes.

I was wondering what to do with my tax refund?!?! But it will take months before I get that. So,

In lieu of the actual cash...I will be willing to sacrifice a garage full of parts that you can use toward the construction of your dream car. I've got an air foil, a cut-filter, a partial set of slightly used spark plug wires, a stock 90 exhaust system, etc. that I can ship COD to your not-profit for a fair market value receipt of a grand or so.

If all of us here help you out we can probably come up with 75 percent of the parts you need to live a full life again.

If you were interested in garage space and could give me specs and pics of your C4, perhaps I could have a donation arranged that coincides with the detail and value of your C4. ; )

I.E. If you're really looking for garage space and a new car, I have a friend who's looking to purchase a clean C4 (or other cars, he's looking at 928s/944s too). Let me know. : )
