Was in the process of investigating why the vette did not pass oxides of nitrogen. Suddenly on a restart the engine accelerated to about 2000 deaccelerated and died, this had never happened before. This sympton continues to repeat itself. I had just checked the tps switch, iac, egr and solenoid, plus almost all other relays for proper resistance. All checked positive. My scanner is not picking up any trouble codes - say what ? The vette passed emissions last year. I did note that I was getting a lean mixture and that's why I investiagted the egr system and checked for vaccum leaks...Boy am I stumped. Could a malfunction in the cold start injector cause the above sympton? Any help would certainly be appreciated.
