Default Which tires smoke the best?

Went to a burnout contest this weekend in the vette. Took the 315's off and put the 255's on. Didnt have a problem spining, just not much smoke. The tires I used were B.F. Comp T/As. Whoever had this car before me must have used up all the smoke! Where can I get some more. Which tires smoke the best???

Default Colored Smoke!

Apparently Kumho is now making a tire that gives off red smoke - somebody posted a video of it a few weeks ago. Now put that on one tire - and a blue smoker on the other - that ought to impress the crowd!!!!

The softer compound makes for more smoke.

Best tire to use are brand new ones.

The older the rubber, the more the rubber has hardened due to cross linking caused by oxygen. The harder the rubber, the less grip, the more wheel spin and the less smoke.....

I have Yokohama AVS Sports and they smoke like a chimney even though they're about 5 years old.

It's a shame though that the Corvette doesn't have a third rear wheel for the white smoke to complete the red, white, and blue combo!
