My 1988 C4 has a long list of modifications. Ported heads, the list goes on and on. Hedman long tube ceramic coated headers EGR O2 sensor. Emissions intact no codes ! I chose Flowmaster 44 mufflers and Magnaflow cats true dual exhaust. If the car was OB2 getting a tune would be money well spent. OBD1 don't waste the money. You car will run better and get better gas mileage at least it should.

Corsa is only way to go if you do not want resonance inside. They have tuned it out. Had mine now for 3 yrs. Love it. Looks good too

I would go option #3 and just bolt on some 3:73 gears. I put 3:54 gears on mine and I like it but I think 3:73 gears would be better. In the 60's they put 4:11 in with a 4 speed so I would think 3:73 would be good in a L98 it has the torque to turn them. Plus the lower gears keeps the engine in the mid range power rpm. I had 2:73 I think and they were terrible.
