I went with muffler eliminators, cheapest to do and sounds great. Click here

A friend of mine has headers and straight pipes to 3-chamber Flowmasters on his 2000 Mustang, and if that setup sounds anywhere near as good on the Vette as it does on his car, I'm going with that.
P.S.
I threw in a Flowmaster vote

Gotta go with the Corsa. Have seen and heard almost all of the rest and am most impressed with the sound and quality.

TimSPEED Ran a 101mph in his 1/4 time with eliminators.. so in the l98, they aren't detrimental at all. In fact, 101mph, he probably GAINED some hp!

I have Borlas... just gotta love the sound and also the fact that it's stainless steel. I can have normal conversation when I'm breakin' the soundbarrier!!!

We've got a full borla system on my moms 89 and it sounds awesome.
Still stock on mine but I'll probably be doing the Borla Challenger exhaust when I get the money

I have a Borla on mine. It sounds ok at low RPM, but it's waaaay too quiet at higher speeds and RPM. I need to hear my motor so I know when to shift. I am always getting comments at the track about being the "quietest" guy there.

I thought STraight pipes = eliminators = NO muffler...

I have Flowmasters. If I had of know what resonance was, it would have stayed stock. My '99 Sierra has flowmasters, sounds great but does not resonate??
blk91: If you don't actually ride at all speeds with the different setups It's like a crapshoot. There is a C5 thread running now abour Bassani and those difference of opinions about one system is just what I mean. Sound tracks just aren't real life.

I think the sound of the Magnaflows is great and absolutely NO RESONANCE.
Can't beat it. I am thinking about upgrading to the all Stainless CatBack. :hat
