Stick, I only get tired of driving stick when I am stuck in stop and go traffic for over 2 hours, but otherwise it is just second nature for me.

I am on my 8th Corvette. Most have been sticks, for among other reasons the early autos were pretty sad. The new ones can do better than at least half of those using a stick. (A lot more than half if we exclude members of this forum!) :seeya

I sold a 4+3 with z-51 to get a auto and no z-51. I know I am going against the grain on this one, but I like the vette for cruising and an occasional 0 to 60 blast. If you want a stick I would advise you to try and get the 6 speed instead of the 4+3. As stated above both have advantages and disadvantages.

I was undecided when I bought mine, but wanted the LT4 engine that only comes with Stick. I haven't regretted my decision.

It is all a personal feeling for each person. My feelings are if you have a sports car, then a stick is the ulitmate way to go. Even in the stop and go traffic the car has so much torque shifting is kept to a minimum. Good luck on your quest.
