Default Should I take it off????

I'm thinking about taking my burlwood dash kit off. I've taken it off before, and there is sticky black stuff stuff on the black dash. I suppose it was glue. How do I get that stuff off?

I really like the stock black panels, they look SHARP, and businessy.

But I looked over it today, there are some new panels that I will need.

1)The console black panel, has a little crack in the lower left hand corner.
2)The right hand panel, where the cushion was is gone. The wood panel is glued onto a makeshift panel (I guess this was put on before they had a modification for the cushion)
3) A new rear left speaker panel, I purposely chipped it to get it off :sigh:

I would remove it and get the panels I needed from a Corvette salvage yard. Then again, I'm not fond of the wood grain dashes.

Just my opinion, though.

I don't know about the wood...seen many different types and thought it all looked a little out of place within the confines of the flat dashes. I liked the carbon fiber look though. It goes along with the theme of high tech which is what all of those digital things are supppose to encourage us to think of.

Take it off and put Carbon Fiber over it. Carbon Fiber looks great on the early dash not so great on the later dashes.
