Re: Questions about the 'true duals 'from MA (Mace)
I heard a 90 MA true duals with flowmasters at the track. It was very loud under throttle, a lot louder than my car that my wife and inspection stations complain about. I would go with a quieter muffler like dynomax if was going to buy the kit.

Right off road use only :yesnod:
=Jeff= Not sure of the diameter..just coming off of the stock mainfold.
As far as mufflers I would go with a quieter type.thanks for the suggestion.

I bought my duals from MA back in 1989 or '90. Then they were made by Desert Driveline in New Mexico. I got the stainless steel. They are 2.5" diameter. I've run Flowmasters and now Borlas for a complete SS system. Both mufflers are loud at WOT. Idle is not too bad, but I'm unlikely to sneak up on anybody! ;)

I got the aluminium coated pipes back in 1996, hooked Flowmasters to them- fortunately, my bad valve stem seals leaked enough oil into the mufflers to coat them- still haven't replaced them in over 50,000 miles of use.
Noise? What? Sorry, I can't hear you. No resonance, tho.
