Heads up display????????
Hi
I saw today in my local paper an 85 with 12,000 miles and it listed one of the options "Heads up display".
I didn't realize that the HUD was around since 85 or is this an after market thing.
Just curious.
Thanks
Alan

That's what l thought but one never knows and he lists his vette as pristine and wants $16,000 which is top dollar.
I still miss my 96 as far as the seats and the way it feels. My C5 feels like a lot better but less like a vette should in my opinion.

I'm with ya. Just sold my pristine 94 MN6....I miss it, but, I got a Z now, so it still feels like a Vette "should".

'85 and $16,000 should not even show up in the same sentence. Got to be a typo in there somewhere.

Vette madness !!!!!!!!!!
Well the person who owns it must really love it!
And as far as the Z-06 your right it is a vette and that's the way it should perform. The only saving grace that l have is the perf rear (big deal) and the Z-51 package.
But it's not a Z-06 for sure.

In all fairness it would have been worth $8500 if it didn't have the HUD.

a few years ago somebody here posted a link to a company that sells HUDs that can be fitted to any car. Google should find a dealer for you.
