Default Steering wheel leather Q?

Anyone have any idea what color leather the steering wheel is in our later model C4's?

Black or Graphite?

I'm looking at those leather repair kits and cannot determine what color the steering wheel leather is.

Walmart sells a leather dye (black approx. $1.99) I believe it is Esquire brand which works well. I also use Neatsfoot oil (farm & home store $2.59 qt.) to restore the finish. Mine looks like new now.

Thanks guys... the upper center section is the worst on mine. That shiney coating that is on the leather has worn off. I was hoping one of these kits might repair it without it being too obvious.

My build sheet says "black."

A guy told me that black shoe polish works great.

If you decide to replace, I got a VERY nice wheel from Contemporary.
