LOL! I have a 95. I guess there is no newer version. I am going to have to buy a new window regulator for the drivers side. My window rolls up and down fine but the regulator is not holding the glass in very well anymore. I guess I am going to call Chris at superior chevy.

Thanks anyway.
Your problem is more likely broken window guide stops. When you call him order the left and right one's. To replace you'll have to remove the door panel and inner accessory panel (aluminum) then it requires a special tool to hold the outer side flat nut but some have been successful with needle nose vice grips.
Lesson for C4 owners don't slam the door with the window partially open or use the window to shut the door. Once you see how it is held in place and guides along a rod, you'll under stand why. Apply force will break that plastic guide.
I looked at my doors and the drivers door appears to have the newer regulator, there are two bolts on the bottom. I think the previous owner told me he replaced it. On the passenger door there is only one bold about in the middle of the door. Looks like the passenger regulator is the old style. The one I have coming is the newer style.
