Very slick. You gotta love a smooth 5 spoke on a vette!
So, are you gonna go with those??

yes I will. they are 17 x 9.5 and they are 675.00 delivered to my door in 4 days. lugs and caps included. seems like real good price

I will go with 9.5's all the way around. what is the widest tire you can put on a 9,5 rim without the sidewall looking balooned to much?

I think stock was 285/40/17 on the 9.5 rear rim

Awesome! I can't wait to see the pics when you get 'em! I agree that a 285/40 is as big as you want to go on a 9.5. Keep in mind that you'll have more tire choices with a 275/40, though.

here are some pics with the new wheels. I went with 285/40/17 on the rear and used the originall front tires they were almost new. 17 x 9.5 rims all the way around. I do not loke the way the mire narrow tires look on the front with the wider rim. (stock was 8.5 in the front) so I guess I will be buying two more tires I also need to install my lowering kit, maybe this wekend. what do you think?

Both of your cars look sharp with the new wheels... On Wednesday I just ordered a set of chrome C6 Z06 17 9.5 front and 18 10.5 rear wheels (from Tomzwheels, cant say enough about how freindly they were) and for tires i went Firestone Wide Oval 265/40/17 front and 295/35/18 for the rear and seeing both of your cars makes me wish they would hurry up and get here ... the wheels should be in by next friday and tires the following monday or tuesday i cant wait.....

Looks Great.

How much was it lowered? I'm thinking of doing this myself.

Thanks!! I am very pleased with the results.
I lowered it about 1.5" all around. For reference, the front sits at 25.75" - 26" and the rear is about 0.5" to 0.75" higher than that, depending on the amount of fuel in the tank.
