I was 18 when I got my red/red, Z51, 4+3 '85 coupe that I took to the high 11s. 20 when I got my yellow '87 roadster (that started at 14.6 sec car and progressed into the 9s) that I still own today. I have owned way too many other C4s between and after those two.
But it was nearly 20 years later before I got my C6 (12.7 sec stock).

At 52, I got my first C4, a '96 CE LT4 coupe, a couple of months ago.
My first Vette was a 58 when I was 20.

When I was 19 I purchased a 66 coupe, it was a builder, it took 3 years for me to get it on the road. That was 29 years ago on Christmas Day.
