Some nice lookin' semi-stock ones here.
Dusty, I 'd post some but mine isn't stock and I went about it so it is a little more user friendly (see pics. if interested).

HAHA, your eyes bleed and you turn to stone.

Mick, I can see...yours is not stock.

Casey, your old L98 is a little backwards.

Thanks everyone for the pics so far. I see I have my work cut out. I might have to spend another day or two on this.

Well my spark plug wires are a tad too long. I hope to get new wires soon and it will look much neater.

From what I can tell so far:

1. Take the plenum and runners off and clean them and the distrubitor cover.
2. Take the valve covers off and stripe and paint.
3. Remove the old wire looms and check for cracks in the insulation and reloom.
4. Clean and paint the fuel rail.
5. Take the alternator bracket and support bracket off and clean and paint.
6. Polish the aluminum A/C compressor lines and surrounding lines.
7. Clean and polish the upper A-arm and grease the zerks.
8. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shields and clean.
9. Reclean the TB and paint the cover, also do a coolant bypass.
10. Clean and paint the TB cable bracket.
11. Check the hoses and belt.

This should take me the good part of a day.

If there is anything else you can think of let me know.

Yup,a good list but I wouldn't paint the fuel rails myself. Just clean 'em up good. Then just regular maint. and cleaning.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get the spark plug wire retainer brackets that mount on the valve covers. I found the actual Spark Plug Wire Retainers for a decent price. Just need the metal brackets as mine are missing for some odd reason.
