Seems a bit low but I don’t know. I think I would check Ebay closed auctions and see what they go for there too.

Very subjective, to say the least.

I wouldn't sell my '85 for less than 10k.
Then again, you could but the "Panty Dropper" for 1k.

Very subjective indeed.

Blue book (or any book for tha6t matter) is useless.

Sadly enough the Book values are what is reported from last months sales. So a current book value is just what the average sale was reported.

Average, meaning all the $1000 POS that changed Hands

I paid 6,500 for my '84 about 10 years ago.
I've SPENT MORE than 6,500 on it.
New paint, new almost everything, new everything that turns, slides or interfaces with another part.
I've had a BALL doing all that work to it.

I WOULD NOT take 6,500 for it today. Don't care if a book says it's only worth $65 I still wouldn't take 100 times that for it.

The '84 Z51 cars are 'different' from the others.
Folks that have them know what I'm talking about.
It takes a 'different' tytpe of driver with 'different' handling taste to appreciate them.

Guess you could say I truly love my '84 Vette. I love my other Vettes but the '84 is 'special' to me.

, I wouldnt sell my '84 unless someone offered me a truly amazing price. I have almost 13k in it including the 3.6k I paid for it, and they would have to offer me over 2x that
