I tried a post under the tire section, lots of looks but no replies regarding the tire monitioring on my 96.
I'm still shopping for aftermarket TT II's, but what did you folks to with the system, install new sensors? Not hook it up? Ive searched quite a bit, cant seem to find the anwser on this one. Any issues if i dont?

Thanks,

Mike

Thats great man! Those pics really come out great! I really need to start taking more pics of my baby!

Those numbers are great! My car just made 320 rwhp and 336 rwtq on a dynojet with boltons! Im pretty happy with it!

Shes going into the shop this weekend for a new 4:10 rear, MIDAmerica drop kit, and 555 nitto DR's and a nice alignment Im really excited!

Here's mine after installing the wheels from y2k2z28:

I love them - I think they make the car look sharp. Some people have mentioned to me about lowering the car, but I plan on installing long tubes (along with a cam, roller rockers, springs, locks, retainers, custom 3 inch exhaust) later this summer, and I am afraid of scraping the long tubes.

Well I was able to do some backyard engineering and get my 87 center caps on my after market wheels, just thought I would add to this string.

I do like them better with the C4 center caps

I assume in '96 they were the same strap kind as previous years. You can transfer them to the new wheels, assuming they are 17". There is slack in the strap, so they'd probably fit on 18" wheels, but who knows from there.

If you don't transfer the sensors, you'll probably have a LTPWS light stay on.
