I agree with Artic-LT1, it is rare to see a loved, and cared for Vette for less than 10K regardless of the year. I think the C3's will continue to rise, but I also think that the second gen C4 will in general be worth more than the first due to the refinements over the years.

Thanks for the replys guys, what you are saying seems to make alot of sense, I think the only cars that may deviate from this may be the 96 CE and GS just because they are different.
I am not sure how the C6 will affect the C4s. I was of the opinion the C5s would affect the C4s, and they did by increasing the value of the C4s in my area. I had a 92 Yellow Convertible with 43k miles which I sold in 98 for $18,000 because I wasn't using it and I thought the C5s would hurt its value. I could have probably sold it today for the same or more, than I did in 1997.
I remember my buddy with a 95 coupe telling me,
"As long as you don't drive your vetee - any vette of any year - off of a cliff, you'll always get 10 grand for it."

Right on
i dont know about that. the early C4's are going for 5-6k I think
IMHO, the C6 won't have any direct effect on the pricing of C4's, at least no more so than the passing of another year has. It might effect late model C5 values, however.
