How many 1996 Collectors Edition Convertible produced?
Hi Corvette friends. A friend of mine just purchased a 1996 Corvette Convertible, Collector's Edition Silver with Grey Leather and Black top.
LT-4 330 HP Grand Sport powertrain with 6 speed transmission all options but ride select. Currently has 23,700 miles. He is wondering if anyone knows how many were produced? Thank you.

Collector Convertibles
Not sure on the Non-GS model Collector Edition Convertibles. I know there were 190 Grand Sport Convertibles. Maybe try the Grand Sport Registry for an answer. They are LT-4 pros.

I own a 96 LT1 CE Convertible with Torch Red interior which is the rarest interior color only 73 were produced. The red interior just pops out when you have the top down....very classy combination!

2021 C4 of the Year - Modified Finalist
As far as LT4 cars that were convertibles, NOT MANY, As far as LT4 convertible cars with a torch red interior, and torch red paint, well, Not very common. According to Mirrock Corvette, These cars show the most promise for increased collectability value as any C4 car in the 12 year run. looking at the production numbers of these cars is one thing? As to how many are left driving around after 25 years in any kind of shape? That number gets pretty low pretty quick.
