Default wrapping interior parts with leather

Has anyone done this. A few questions, like what is the best way to do it. I've done upholstery but it was a loong time ago. best glue? Sewing? Prep?

AH, I remember that thread. Beautiful work, you could tell some real quality leather was used there. Steering wheel looked awesome.

Toni H is in Finland and while prices of everything is higher over there, his budget was reasonable and I might even say inexpensive given seat covers alone are close to $900 through Knoch et al.

I don't even need to click.....That's got to be ToniH's Vette. That is the perfect, rare example of someone who entirely modified an interior and just blew away anything that came from the factory w/o looking tacky. There are no words to describe the level of quality work he did on that car.

But has anyone here done anything like this themselves. Not talking full boat like this one, just some small stuff like center console or pillar posts.

I did mine myself with leather-like vinyl.
everything was hand stitched myself. The entire project took about 24 hours to do.
