Pic request - Tinted Windows
I'm thinking of having the windows on my white '94 tinted, and the installer recommended 28% on the sides and 18% on the back (pretty much the lowest allowed here in FL). I'm concerned that having a darker back window will look kinda funky. Does anyone have pics of their car with tinting (preferably a white car, but whatever) and also say what % they used?
I believe the law stipulates only what the side windows need to be. You can make the rear whatever you want. I'd go 5% on the rear. In Florida's heat, you need it. I also believe the law says no lower than 32% on the sides.
Usually if I see a cop, I'll let down my windows to let more light in.. I was only pulled over once by a AL state trooper. He asked if the windshield was tinted.. I didn't say anything.. then he started looking at it.. you can't see the edges of the tint so he assumed it was factory tinted glass.. and with the black interior, he said that must be why it looked dark. Then, he proceeded to talk cars.. he let me go.

i have 5% all the way around,do not go 5% on front, only cuz u cant see worth a sh*t at night,i've heard u cant get pulled over for tints, they only add it on once u've already been pulled over!
