Finally got a vette
Hi all. My wife and I have been looking for a corvette for about 6 mo. now. We had decided on a C-5, but found a great 92 C-4 coupe Red on Red, and loved it. 60,000 miles, 6 speed, and in great condition. So... looks like we will have a project and hobby all rolled into one. I will be searching the site for information, and probably asking for advice from time to time. Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard!
I can remember a year ago when I bought mine, that first drive off the lot after signing the papers. I've wanted one since i was about 4, it really was a dream come true.
Congrats!

Congratulations on the 92, especially since it is a RED on RED. My 94 convertible is Red on Red and when I put the removeable hard top on, it becomes a triple Red. You will really enjoy the 6 speed - good choice. My 91 convertible was red on red, and a triple red with the hard top. So you have chosen the best combination in my opinion. My 02 is also red with a 6 speed. Welcome to the forum.

I am sure you didnt know the 92 coupe was the least desirable trouble prone of all the C4s
The service techs at the dealers didnt call them the college fund for nothing
But like you said working on it will be a hobby Just dont expect to be driving it too much
jk
Welcome and have fun
