Default Headlight adjustment (opposite direction adjustment)

I know there are other threads on headlight adjustment, but they only talk about how to keep the higher portion of the headlight lid from being too high-just adjust the rubber stopper.

What if your headlight is too low where the stopper is? In otherwords, if the headlights are closed, the side of the headlight door closest to the bumper if flush, the side closest to the windshield is sunken in about 1/4 of an inch.

Basically, I need to adjust my headlight the opposite direction all the threads talk about. All the bolts that hold the assembly in place are tightened.

I thought the rubber stopper would fix your problem. Weird.

I think I might have just losened everything on mine when I took myheadlight out. I had to hit that pin thing you have to remove with a hammer pretty hard. That pin did not come out without a fight. I might have bent something slightly in the process.

Thats normal for the pin to be stuck in there pretty good. My headlight was sitting too low even before I replaced the gears.
