I've had quite a few Harley's in my day. I am riding a BMW K1200Lt at the present time. I wouldn't give up my BMW but, I would also like to have an Ultra.

I've got an 05 Road King I bought new in 05, but right now, it's taking a back seat to my 89 coupe I bought a few months ago. It's a tough decision except when it's raining.

Default Oh Yeah!

My '00 FXDWG sits right in front of the '67 in my garage. Funny 'tho - most of my vette buddies in the club think I'm nuts. Their loss; I don't think most of 'em have ever been on a bike. Hell, some of 'em won't even put down the tops on their 'verts!!!!

My wife tried that one too...I still have both I use the bike for driving to work every day now in the summer so it's more like a mode of transportation than a toy.

Default Harleys and vettes

Then a few of you do. Cool. I get no wave or respect from the C5 and 6 crowd. But us biker brothers respect everyone, no matter what kind a bike they ride. I ride with all brands of bikes. I wish all vette people could be like that. Here is a pic of my harley. I built it and changed it thru the years. In 2006 it was red. It was in "Hot Bike" that year. Its a 1970 Harley shovelhead motor, 1955 panhead kick only tranny. Rigid.
I rode side by side with a cop on a BMW yesterday. It was fun.

I held her off for about a year and a half before I caved.

But in reality I only put about 150 miles on the bike in the last 6 mo's I owned it. It didn't make any sense to keep it.
